Frustrated with the mismanagement, lack of prioritization, and flawed strategy that has characterized too much of our foreign policy and national security work? Eager to drive change in government, think tanks, advocacy organizations, media, or industry?
We’re your partner.
The John Quincy Adams Society is an independent organization building the future of U.S. foreign policy. We want to form community among people who think like you do. We believe such a community will be more effective at producing change and more consistent in driving for it.
There are many ways to get involved with the Society. We hold regular reading groups on important foreign policy books. We have networking events in Washington, DC. For professionals with two or fewer years of foreign policy experience, our Marcellus Policy Fellowship is an opportunity to build your writing skills by producing a think-tank-style policy report. For professionals with five to fifteen years of foreign policy experience, our Strategic Leaders Fellowship offers the opportunity to connect with peers, learn from top experts, and go on an international study tour to dig into critical strategic challenges. We’d also love to connect with you individually so that we can figure out how we can help you best.
